Currency and Money Tips in Bratislava
Need some money tips while you are on your stag weekend in Bratislava?
The €uro is the official currency in Slovakia. If you are heading to Bratislava for a stag weekend, you will need to exchange your currency for €uro. Do this in Bratislava at the banks for the best rate or ask your female guide for the advice!
You can always use your credit or debit card to withdraw €uro's from a local cashpoint machine which is everywhere.
Money Exchange
You may exchange your money for the Euro at most Bratislava banks or at specialized stores called Foreign Exchange Bureaus. Look for signs that say Bureau De Change, Geld Wechseln or Cambio. The commission is around 2%. You may be able to exchange your money at Bratislava airport, but exchange rates will be high so it's better to wait and speak to your stag guide. Never change money in the street!
